The packaging for Area was designed to protect the device during transport while minimizing environmental impact. Its main structure is made from molded paper pulp produced from recycled paper. The material also allows the packaging to remain lightweight while providing a secure fit around the product.

The housing of Area is made from durable injection-molded ABS and is available in a range of muted colors. The palette was carefully selected to avoid visual dominance and allow the product to blend into variety of environments.
